Tomorrow, Mt. Zion will host the 5th District of the GMBC Laymen’s meeting at 9:00am.  All men are asked to come out and support Brother Weaver and the Men’s Ministry.
 
Youth Church and Adult Sunday School will be held Sunday morning at 9:30. The lesson, “Glorious Riches” will come from Colossians 1:24- 2:3.

Parents and Grandparents- there will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 12 noon for our youth and their parents.  All need to be in attendance, particularly those attending the GMBC Congress of Christian Education in Columbus, GA, and especially our youths participating in the Oratorical Contest.  If for whatever reason, you are unable to attend, please contact one of the Youth Coordinators.
 
Ensemble Choir Rehearsal will take place at 11:30 in the morning.
 
Homegoing celebrations will be held tomorrow for the sister of Sister Brenda Edwards and the brother of Sister Joyce Butler.  All information including today’s viewing is on our website.
 
Youth Church and Adult Sunday School will be held Sunday morning at 9:30. The lesson, “Who Has Believed” will come from Romans 10:1-17.

Our Double Goods Popcorn Store opened this morning at 10:00am and will close Tuesday, May 21st at 10:00am.  Our youth, parents, and your Pastor have stores open and available for your purchase.  Please contact any of us for purchase.  If you desire not to purchase the popcorn, we would gratefully accept your donations.
 
Please be advised that sister Rosa Lee English, the sister of Sister Brenda Edwards passed on yesterday. 
 
Also as mentioned previously, Brother Wayne Moore, the brother of Sister Joyce Butler passed.  Homegoing Celebration arrangements for both of them are pending at this time.
 
Tomorrow is Youth and Scholarship Sunday.  Again, our Speaker will be Sister Savannah Clark.  Please come out to support our Youth, as well as come prepared to support our Scholarship Ministry.  Please wear your Mt. Zion T-shirt or religious paraphernalia to show unity and support for our Youth.

Please be advised that Brother Wayne Moore, the brother of Sister Joyce Butler has passed.  Homegoing Celebration arrangements are pending at this time.
 
Today, Deacon and Sister Cotton, the Coordinators of our Homeless Ministry, now referred to as the Unhoused, will prepare 300 food bags and socks to be given to God’s people on tomorrow morning.  Please meet at the Church at 5:00pm today to assist them with the preparation. For those planning to go out with us on tomorrow morning, please meet at the Church at 7:30 in our efforts to leave at 8:00am. 
 
Sunday is 3rd Sunday, Youth Sunday.  Our Youth Speaker is our most recent college graduate and scholarship recipient, Savannah Clark. 
 
Youth Church and Adult Sunday School will be held Sunday morning at 9:30. The lesson, “Reconciled to God” will come from Romans 5:1-11.
