Calling Post 1/17/2025 by Pastor Bright
5th District Consecration Revival will be held tonight at 7pm at Simpson Road Baptist Church, where the Rev. Charles Weems is Pastor.

The Media Ministry Lunch and Learn Tutorial will be held tomorrow at 1:00pm.  Again, please bring your laptop, computer, tablet, or other device.  We want to ensure all members are familiar with accessing Zoom, and Facebook to watch and participate in the Church’s Worship Services, Teachings, and other Church-wide events.

Sunday is Youth Sunday.  The Youth will rehearse tomorrow in preparation for Youth Sunday and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Observance.  Our Youth Day Speaker is Brother Ryan Bright.

Parents and Grandparents, God commands us to “Train up our children” in the way that they should go and when they are old, they won’t depart from it.  The Youth Coordinators and Teachers are spending lots of time preparing for Youth Sundays and providing the biblical training for them weekly, but we need your child and/or children.

Let us continue to keep the Collins, Haynes, Slaton, Dixon, Carroll, and other bereaved families in our prayers.  Let us keep Deacon Williams, Brother Edwards, other sick members convalescing at home and in Nursing Homes, and one another in our prayers.

I love you Mt. Zion and may God bless you all.

Please be advised that we will have our Sunday Worship Communion Service tomorrow at 10:45am.  However, to allow for temperatures to increase and safer road conditions, we will not have Youth Church or Adult Sunday School at 9:30.

As usual, our Worship Service will be streamed live via Facebook.  If you will not be worshipping with us tomorrow, please prepare your elements for the Lord’s Supper.

Let us pray for our Church and all Churches that we will safely convene tomorrow and Worship and Praise Jesus Christ, and God our Father, Who reminds us by His snow, He is still in control of everything.

I love you Mt. Zion and may God bless you all.

But, let me also take the time to thank God for the gift He has given the Bright Family, you, our Mt. Zion family.
