Please be advised that Little Baby Dash Jones, the grandson of Brother Trevis and Sister Keisha Ruger, has passed.  Let us keep his grandparents, Brother and Sister Ruger, his parents, the Jones and Ruger families, and other bereaved families in our prayers.
 
Mother Ola Mae Lynch was discharged from the hospital and is now in a Rehabilitation Facility.  Also, let us pray for Mother Bernice Johnson.  Let us continue to keep Mother Lynch, Mother Johnson, and their families, as well as other sick members convalescing at home and in Nursing Homes, in our prayers. 
 
The Lord always desires that the Church should have a Pastor.  Tomorrow, we will celebrate 13 years of your allowing me to be your Pastor.  Let us come and celebrate what only the Lord could have done.  Because of the celebration at 10:45 am, there will be no Sunday School for adults or our youth.

Hello, my Mount Zion family. This is your pastor.

Mount Zion, please listen carefully. Please be advised that this meeting is for members only, for there may be a need to vote if necessary. Members are those who give their time, talents, and tithes and offerings to the welfare of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and its missions. The meeting will be brief, in half an hour to an hour, and will be done decently and in order. Let's get excited about God's vision for Mount Zion. The meeting will be in part both the business of the church and the vision from the pastor from God, not focusing on the past, but forth and forth in the name of Jesus Christ.

Sunday is Mission Sunday. Please come prepared to give a financial offering of $33 above your tithes and offerings for our missions ministry.

Please be advised that Mother Ola Mae Lynch has been hospitalized. Let us continue to keep Mother Lynch, Mother Dolores Anderson, who is still recuperating, Sister Hill and other sick members coming to sing at home and in nursing homes in our prayers. And let us continue to pray for the Edwards, Cotton, Bright, other bereaved families, and your Mount Zion family. In your prayers.

Let us continue to keep Mother Delores Anderson and Sister Carolyn Hill in our prayers.  Both were hospitalized and continue to recover from their illnesses.
 
Let us continue to keep Brother and Sister Edwards and their family, other bereaved families, Mother Anderson and Sister Hill, other sick members convalescing at home and in Nursing Homes, as well as one another in our prayers.

Anyone desiring to attend the GMBC Women’s Conference 2026 in Macon, GA- please let me know by the end of the Worship Service on Sunday.
 
Youth rehearsal will be held Saturday morning.  We look forward to your youth coming out to participate in our Sunday Worship Service on Youth Sunday. 
 
Our Speaker for Youth Sunday will be Brother Ryan Bright.
 
Please come out, support our youth, but most importantly, praise and worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
 
Let us continue to pray for our bereaved families, sick members convalescing at home and in Nursing Homes, as well as one another.

Happy 4th of July, blessings to each of you, and “Traveling Grace” for those who will be traveling to visit and fellowship with family and friends.
 
I regret to inform you that Brother Claude Weaver, the brother of our Men of Zion President, Brother Robert Weaver, has passed.  Homegoing Celebration arrangements are pending at this time. 
 
To God be the Glory, Sister Vickie Jacobs has been discharged from the hospital and is doing well.
 
Again, Baptism and Communion will be held in the morning.  Baptism will begin promptly at 10:45 am. 
 
Seven of our youth will be leaving for Valdosta, GA, next Sunday, July 12th, to attend the GMBC State Congress of Christian Education.  Please join my wife and me and bring a generous offering tomorrow above your tithes and offerings so that we may help finance this opportunity for our Youth to gain a necessary and fruitful Christian Education experience.

Please be advised that Sister Vickie Jacobs has been hospitalized, is doing better, but remains in the hospital for further treatment and observation.
 
We are excited that young Brother Jayven Slaton, known as BJ, the grandson of Deacon and Sister Slaton, will be baptized on this upcoming 1st Sunday.  We will also observe Holy Communion.  If you can’t be with us physically or via Facebook for this Blessed Service, due to traveling this Holiday weekend, we pray “Traveling Grace” for all of you!
