Calling Post 12/24/2025 by Pastor Bright
Please be advised that Sister Susan Allen, the sister of our member, Sister Everlyn Banks, passed. Homegoing arrangements are pending at this time.
Also, Sister Anna Duckworth, the aunt of our member, Brother Kenneth Bryant, passed. Homegoing arrangements for his aunt are also pending at this time.
Mother Mary Nell Avery has been hospitalized. She currently remains there for further testing and observation.
Let us keep Sister Banks and her husband, Brother Calvin Banks, Brother Bryant and his wife, Sister Rebecca Bryant, the family of Mother Carrie Anderson, other bereaved families, Mother Avery, her family, and other sick members in our prayers.
On this day and tomorrow, even amid bereavement and sickness, as we pray for those who are bereaved and/or sick, let us celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior and let us thank God for giving us His perfect gift, His only begotten son, Jesus Christ.
But, let me also take the time to thank God for the gift He has given the Bright Family, you, our Mt. Zion family.
Thank you for all your tangible Christmas gifts, but more importantly, the intangible gift of love you all have given us over the past 12 years.
From the Bright Family to each of you and your family, Merry Christmas!
We love you, Mt. Zion, and may God bless you all!
